I really enjoyed reading Three Days in Seattle. Realistic plot and characters. You knew who the good guys and bad guys were from early in the story, but it was interesting to see the story develop and solve the kidnapping. Kate and her new friend Ryan search for Kate's missing sister Whitney and find out the past can come back to haunt you. They work with the police running down every clue in order to find Whitney before it is too late. A little romance develops along the way. I've read several Debra Burroughs' books and they have all been interesting and entertaining.Product details

A thoroughly enjoyable romance. When Kate gets a phone call telling her that her sister Whitney is missing, she catches a plane to Seattle. She meets Ryan, who is gorgeous, on her flight. Together they try to help the police find Whitney. You will have romance, a kidnapping and possibly murders. A tragic sister and brother in disguise. You will not be able to put down this book until the very last page. Enjoy!
I waffled between 3 and 4 stars - and finally rounded up. It was a decent read, but not outstanding. Perhaps it was just a bit too much of an instant romance for me. Nevertheless, I did finish and don't regret the time, so I have to say it was okay.
Good story but there were times that I would finally skip the descriptions of what was going on. The descriptions would be such like this happened, then this happened, then this happened. It just didn't flow and was too much. Also, the back and forth banter between characters became more filler it seemed in order to make the book longer.
The underlying story was very good.
The title "Three Days in Seattle" tells you this is going to be a breakneck speed trip and there's no time to catch your breath in three days.
It starts when Kate gets a phone call from her sister's roommate, Suki. Her sister Whitney is missing in Seattle. When Kate's flight from L.A. to Seattle is diverted to Boise, she meets Ryan. Together they set out to find Whitney.
The story is told from multiple viewpoints so we know early on who kidnapped Whitney. The suspense comes from whether or not Kate and Ryan can save Whitney and why she was kidnapped. The growing attraction between Kate and Ryan is an interesting subplot.
If you like suspense with a little romance on the side, this is the book for you.
A brother & sister hold a great sense of hate & revenge toward someone who was in a traffic accident that took the life of their mother & caused their dad's suicide. To find out how their revenge plays out, you should read the book! An easy read with realistic police involvement!
Wow! A lot of action in a short book! I loved the plot, and the characters. First time reading about a brother and sister seeking revenge for their mother’s accident. But I guess drugs can make you think things that are crazy wrong. But when information is withheld from you and you don’t know the whole story, you can make some mighty big mistakes. At least Kate met a man who was perfect in every way and was there for her at the worst time in her life. I loved this page turner.
A Debra Burroughs's book will always fit your mood. Sometimes I just need a Burroughs book to unwind from writing blindness or, it's a needed rest from a long, complex novel read for book club but always, Debra Burroughs is a guaranteed thumbs-up - her novels are perfect for total enjoyment reading.
"Three Days in Seatle" is delightful. A nice little adventure to the Pacific Northwest where murder, mystery, love, family, tenderness, and caring take place in a well-thought-out plot. TDS winds it's way right into your heart and makes you miss the characters once you've read the last page.
